About Me
My name is Danielle.
I'm was a premed student, then I was a Cornell University graduate, then I took a year off to do Chi Alpha missions at Cornell, and medical missions for 6 months in Kenya. Then I'm doing a masters in biomedical science (AKA take some first-year classes so med schools will like me better) and then I started med school in August 2012 and then eventually I'll be a surgeon. Or an ER doctor. I am participating in the US Air Force HPSP (Health Professions Scholarship Program), so the AF will pay for medical school, and in turn I will serve as an AF doctor for 4 years after I finish residency.
Every day I wonder how on Earth (or, not on Earth)God is going to manage to work all this out with me, but I know he will!
If this blog ever gets read, I hope it can be useful to other people considering medical school or the HPSP program or medical missions!
Welcome to my life, my experiences - and of course- my mindless rambling. Enjoy!
